Courtney Liu is a Director-Choreographer whose credits include Forestburgh Playhouse, Timber Lake Playhouse, Playmakers Summer Youth Conservatory, and the American Dance Festival amongst a variety of concert dance and educational venues.

Performance credits include Phantom of the Opera (Broadway Cast), Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake, the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Queen of the Night, AEA & Disney Developmental labs, the Broadway Dance Lab, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Busch Gardens Theme Parks, the Peridance Contemporary Dance Company, and the Cincinnati Ballet. 

 

Courtney is currently an Assistant Professor of Music Theatre at Elon University and previously served as Assistant Dance Captain at the Phantom of the Opera on Broadway and as Assistant Director for Norwegian Cruise Lines.

Courtney's academic research for the past five years has focused on flow states.

 

She holds an MFA in Dance and BA in Psychology from Duke University.
